I am an educator, artist and Doctoral Student at the University of Toronto's faculty of Education (OISE). I am a graduate of York University's Masters of Critical Disability Studies in Toronto.
I am interested in creating inclusive learning experiences for disabled students and passionate about exploring equitable pedagogies through intersectional and inclusion based research and storytelling. My current interests include but are not limited to exploring embodiment & carcerality as it is related to the Canadian educational landscape through implicit and explicit standards of civic duty and participation.

St. Mildred’s-Lightbourn School- PT Learning Strategist, Middle School (Sept 2024-current)

Working collaboratively with administration and students in establishing equitable practices in curriculum objectives and lesson delivery. Subject expert on disability advocacy, accessibility, Learning Disabilities, Canadian Human Rights and Education Law. Develops and implements Individualized Education Plans and review meetings. Facilitates and supports Student Success Meetings designed to offer support to students with and without exceptionalities or identification in need of more specific support. Fostered opportunities for Professional Development among Middle School Faculty with respect to Universal Design for Learning and Equitable Assessment.
